Free registration allows users to access the BIL and browse or search by category, or use advanced searching or keyword techniques.  </description>

                <description>The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum are in two different locations but these are a single institution sharing one director. The Ford Library in ann Arbor, Michigan, collects, preserves, and makes accessible a rich variety of archival materials on U.S. domestic issues, foreign relations, and political affairs during the Cold War era. The Library offers exhibits, special events, education partnerships, and reference services. The Ford Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has permanent exhibits that allow visitors to actually participate in history while reviewing the lives of President and Mrs. Ford. Visitors can also see President Ford's Burial Site. </description>
